Outdoor lunches at Kilmer begin on Monday.  Please volunteer.  The Kilmer staff likes to give our students a chance to "air out" during these lovely fall days.  Each lunch period a group of students are selected to be able to dine al fresco at the tables and chairs located just outside the cafeteria.  Staff finds students who get some fresh air during lunch are better able to concentrate during the remainder of the day.  This is only possible, however, if a parent volunteers to monitor the outside lunch.  It's so easy!  You can bring a book, iPad, kindle or even your check book to balance.  You just sit and keep an eye on the students and rarely have to do anything more. 

Please go to www.SignUpGenius.com/go/outdoor20 to sign up for one or more days of Outdoor Lunch.  Students will only be allowed outside if there is an adult volunteer. 

When you volunteer just report to the office that your there for the Outdoor Lunch and they will point you where to go.  Come at 10:15 and you're done at 12:30.  Reminder that there is a short break between A & B lunches.  This is also a great way to see your student and meet some of his/her friends.  Thanks in advance for volunteering.

School Store Volunteers:

Come work a shift at the KilmerSchool Store which is open from 10:20-12:30. Great way to see what goes on during lunch and get a feel for the kids your son or daughter is hanging out with.  No experience needed. Please click on the image to sign up.
