 January 12th - Kilmer Technology Showcase Save the date for the first annual Kilmer Technology Showcase. Come see how your student is using technology to learn at Kilmer. Educational technology will be available for hands on exploration along with examples of student produced work and short videos of technology rich classroom activities. Technology to include iPads, SMARTboards, Kindles, Document Cameras, Turning Point, Flip Cameras, Online Textbooks, Blackboard, Geometers Sketchpad and more! Come to the Kilmer library, from 10am – 12 noon or from 7-9pm to see technology at work at school! Snow Date, January 17. A Message from our PTA President  Dear Parents, Welcome to Kilmer Middle School and to the Kilmer Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We strive for 100% of our parents joining the PTA - and every year, the vast majority do! Almost 100% of the PTA projected revenue comes from donations and memberships. The PTA conducts just ONE fundraiser each year. It's a straight request for donation. Almost our entire PTA budget comes from this arm chair donation so please give generously. As always, we suggest a minimum $50 donation per student attending KMS. We are hoping that many of you will consider donating more as many of our families are unable to contribute at all. In addition to our annual membership and donation drive, we are trying to raise an ADDITIONAL $22,000 for a computer cart with 16 laptops. We were able to purchase a computer cart last year, but Mr. Tyson's goal is for each House to have it's own cart. This make it easier for KMS students to take e-Cart exams, SOLs, PALS, as well as use the computers in class.
